the breakfast was enjoyable with lots of meals to choose from. the room was brand-new and airy with comfortable beds, and we slept very well.

The location of Salmon Weir Lodge is fantastic, close to local sights, pubs, restaurants, and the town center. the family room had comfortable beds, and there was a friendly family atmosphere throughout the lodge.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the excellent parking facilities and easy walking distance to the village. The hostess gave us a warm welcome and provided great recommendations for places to eat and walks in the area. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious, catering to all dietary requirements. The clean and quiet rooms with comfortable beds and high-quality bed linen and towels impressed us.

From the moment we arrived, Rachel, our host, made us feel incredibly welcome with a pot of tea and delicious cake. the property itself was clean, comfortable, and warm, and our room had a most comfortable high bed. We particularly appreciated the high-quality bed linen and towels. Rachel's breakfasts were delicious and catered to every dietary requirement and taste. The lodge's location was fantastic, with easy walking access to the village of Cong and beautiful hiking and running trails through forestland. Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😊.

Had a fantastic weekend in Cong! Loved the breakfast, huge variety of fresh fruits, cereals, and more. the views from the upstairs windows were stunning, overlooking the beautiful garden and trees. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the village. a great experience!

The bed was quite high and had too many cushions. had to be careful when getting out on the main road.

The location was superb, great to easily explore the charming village and visit Ashford Castle. The host, Rachel, was accommodating and friendly, making us feel right at home. The room wassuper clean and cozy, and we loved the a light comforter and a throw blanket. The breakfast provided by Rachel was delicious, especially the refreshing fruit salad. We also appreciated the hot drinks station and the comfortable lounge area. we had a wonderful experience at Salmon Weir Lodge and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cong.
